MELBOURNE 2014 BOAT SHOW
Pull up the anchor!
On one side, there were experts who had won prizes at fishing competitions and had expertise in fishing. They were already well-known figures within Australia. From the people lining up to get autographs, I could see just how developed the fishing culture in Melbourne was. They demonstrated and gave lectures on how to fish in an aquarium set up. They showcased various fishing techniques such as float fishing, make fishing, single-line fishing on boat, and lure fishing.

After watching a special lecture, I decided to leave. There were also gear stores where you could buy items yourself. And there were opportunities to buy fishing gear at prices so discounted that you couldn't find them elsewhere. Most visitors, from young children to elderly couples, were Melbourne locals, and you could see them buying fishing gear here. And to fish in Melbourne, a license is essential and easy to obtain, so you must get it before fishing. There are size restrictions for each type of fish, so you should check before catching them.
Australia's major cities are located by the sea. Melbourne, here too, faces the sea. The easiest way to enjoy a cruiser is to take a boat from Princewerk. It's the perfect place to spend special time with your partner, family, or friends around sunset.
For more and more diverse cruisers, we recommend Dockland and its main marinas. You can see many boat cruisers settling here. You'll also create special memories with a variety of dinners. In the city, if you gaze at Melbourne from a boat cruise along the Yarra River, you'll quickly be drawn to Melbourne.

Organized by BIVA (Boating Industry Association of Victoria), Victoria's leading nonprofit organization engaged in recreation and light commercial boating, the event was truly enormous. Sponsored by companies like Boatsales and Club Marine, with participation from various large and small businesses, the boat show offered a chance to view a variety of boats.
