■ Exhibition Features

This year's Franchise Expo was held over three days from August 21 to August 23, 2015, at the Melbourne Convention Centre covering an area of 8,000 m².  Franchise companies showcased their business operations and products, and various franchise companies from specific industries participated, providing visitors with diverse ideas for personal businesses.

■ Main Exhibition Items

At this exhibition, franchise companies from various industries such as car washing, cleaning, fast food, food, coffee, bakery, ice cream, beverages, finance, and delivery participated, allowing customers interested in personal businesses to visit and gain time to understand the characteristics and operational methods of each franchise.

■ Notable Side Events

-       Franchise Consulting Services

: For franchise business, consulting with experienced consultants who have a precise understanding of legal regulations is essential. To meet these needs, the exhibition invited relevant lawyers to provide free consultation services to customers considering whether to decide on franchising. This played an important role in enhancing the interests between visitors and exhibitors.

-        seminar

: During the three days of the expo, seminars were held daily from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., inviting prominent figures such as government agencies, lawyers, magazine publishers, franchise business leaders, and consultants. The topics were diverse, covering which franchise business suits oneself, efficient management methods, the importance of franchise business research, the significance of legal, financial, brand, and employment strategies, and the four key elements for franchise business success.

■ Future Outlook for the Exhibition

As competition in business intensifies, there is a growing trend of seeking stable ventures even if it means higher investment costs. Recently, the scope of franchise business has gradually expanded, and services are increasingly branded.

As competition between companies and stores intensifies and customers increasingly prefer specific products through media and advertising channels, the franchise industry is expected to become more active.
