Recently, a video was released on the YouTube channel 'CatchTV' where SK Hynix met current employees to ask about their alma maters and job credentials. The video looked into the actual educational background and hiring experience of SK Hynix employees regarding SK Hynix's recent removal of educational restrictions in the hiring process. First, an employee who is in charge of HBM yield work said he joined in January 2025, saying, "I graduated from Korea University in science and engineering with a GPA of 3.9," adding, "I have no experience working at other companies, and before joining, it would be good to have experience improving device performance during undergraduate research activities." Another employee who has worked at SK Hynix for over 30 years He mentioned Gumi Electronics Technical High School as his alma mater, and said that after joining as a production worker, he switched to another job category. Regarding the recent removal of academic restrictions, he expressed a positive stance, saying, "We need to recruit diverse talent."  The 19-year semiconductor development employee revealed that they graduated from a regional university, and while he believes academic background can be somewhat important during the hiring process, he cites attitude as a key competency, emphasizing that it's important to demonstrate that you can work hard without any problems. There was also talk about changes in the company, with one current employee saying, "These days, the company atmosphere is rapidly shifting from academic background to AI-related tasks, so I think removing educational restrictions will allow us to hire better talent." Overall, while breaking down academic background barriers,,, if you enter the core product development research lab,,, It's different,,, but there are usually more prestigious universities!!!!!!
