Australian English-1

1. When you make a mistake, you can simply say 'Sorry / Excuse me / Pardon me,' or more expressively like 'I'm sorry about that' or 'Please forgive me.' Usually, the other person says 'No worries (problem / drama)', 'All good', 'that's nothing', or 'That's fine'. Usually, 'No worries' or 'All good' are the most commonly used.

2. How's it going? How're you doing? If you say "Not much," if it's okay, "Good," or a bit harsher, "Pretty good / Bloody good." Sometimes it might sound like slang, but it's also called "Sweet as," which means extremely good   .

3. When someone says they're really tired or lazy, they use the expression 'I'm stuffed.' It seems to be a completely different expression from 'tired of it' or 'sick of it.' It seems like an expression you can use to respond to someone saying, 'The weather is killing today, so let's try something.' Basically, 'I'm stuffed' means 'to be full,' but it can also mean 'very tired' or 'there's a problem.'

4. When buying at a store, if it says 'Mate's rate or Mate's discount,' it means the price is lower than the usual sale price. Friend's discount – Isn't it a slang where a close friend is making you pay a huge discount?

5. An expression used to praise someone's work: Good on ya = Good job - Well done, amazing!!

6. When something is lost and you can't find it, say "It's gone walkabout," or when someone (a friend) disappears without a word .

7. When things are expensive, use the expression "It's exy" - expensive.

8. "It came good" when the result is good,,, when you receive good grades, when something goes well, when problems are solved well.
